Ethan got a notice from the school that he needed to get his eyes checked. I figured, I passed the school exams all the time, and I needed them badly, that would mean he might need them worse than me.
We got "lucky" in that he was pretty much exactly what the school found, which is 20/80, which is not blind, but not great at seeing. He’s doing great with wearing his glasses though!

Madison got some new stickers for her writing binder when I printed out some instagram pictures for her. They didn’t turn out too great, but they work for her.
I sit, looking at a blank screen, and I wonder. What do I write? Is there a special picture I just cannot wait to share? It’s hard sometimes, trying to figure out what to write, though. I mean, come on, what is the point of this writing and blogging thing? Who is really reading this blog?
Then I think to myself, does it really matter? No, I don’t think it does, because I’m not doing this blogging thing for anyone but myself. I just want to release that inner writer that is inside of me. Or I want to share something funny that my kids did.
Sometimes I’ll admit it, I can go on quite the political tirade, but I think I have shown that I can be more than that. I can listen to the other side of the spectrum. I’ve shown that I agree with that side sometimes too. That’s what makes being human so nice.
The title of the post really comes from the song by Katy Perry “Who Am I Living For?” Instead of living, it’s a writing issue. I don’t know who I am writing for. Am I writing for myself, or am I writing for someone else to read. I used to think it was all for myself, and something for my kids to have a record of when they’re older, but I was completely honest with myself, I would know that isn’t the truth. When I’m stressing on comments, how am I writing for myself.
In 2013, I am hoping to use this as more than just a drop-off spot for my P365 things. I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with it, but we’ll see. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
Right now, I am going to just go with the flow. A fellow blogger, Tara, of The Spiral Notebook, does these great writing memes, and I’m thinking I might start taking part in them. Not in December because I’m doing some scrapping related projects with that, but with something else. I’m excited about it, that is all I know. I’m excited to start something new. I’m excited at the chance to maybe spread my wings and fly, creatively speaking.

I’m not sure if we’re actually going to see a storm, but I would not be surprised.
Winds were crazy, temperature drops were just as crazy.
I don’t like at all.
